Throw The First Rock
A few months after we recorded our first Demo, the band was back together, stronger then ever. We practiced almost everyday for a few hours at a time, and wrote a bunch of new songs. We started playing our first serious shows too, a few bars in Montreal, colleges and highschools as well. We figured it would be nice to head back into studio to record those new songs, and for once, not only to have time to work on the sound, but to go in the studio as a whole a band.
Michael Carfagnini, the band's bassist, along with Mike Sperlazza on drums, and myself, spent 3 full days at Air Ms Studio once again. I would have to verify with them when that was exactly, but it was either November 2002, or November 2003. We got 9 songs down, ate pizza, drank beer, and printed out CD's to sell in shows. Again, I would have to ask Mike for pictures of it. The EP's highlight are probably Animals, a retake of However, and the Penis Song, a live favorite. We also decided to record A Whole Waste, which was kind of Eloes's anthem. Spit was recorded live, in one shot, and we decided to not touch it at all, 0 editing. Free, Spay Me, and Tabernacle, even tho less appreciated, were amazing at starting mosh pits and hold a great deal of souvenirs too!
