Post Eloes Recordings
After Eloes dismembered in 2003, I had a period of intense discouragement. The band was my dream, and it was simply going nowhere. With time, tho, and thanks to a trip to Seattle( I just HAD to do my Kurt Cobain pilgrimage!), I realised all I needed to make music was myself. Afterall, I wrote most of Eloes's songs on my own, and realised I had tons of songs that I could still use. I equipped myself with the start of a home studio, and recorded a bunch of stuff, very experimental stuff, which taught me a lot about the recording process.
I have decided not to include all that material, but rather, only the songs which were part of Eloes's set list but had never been recorded. Some songs of that period, like Amber, will be posted on the music page, since they have been rerecorded very recently, and have much less in common with Eloes then with who I am today.About the band members, I unfortunately have no more news of Michael Carfagnini. Last I heard, he was lead singer and guitarist in a band called Butterknife Possy. As for Mike Sperlazza, him and I kept very good contact to this day and still jam in his basement once in a while, just for kicks!
