Some updates

Again, I must start by apologizing for the unfrequent updates on this site! I have been busy recording new songs, as I now completed my studio setup in my garage, with much more space, better acoustics (surprisingly!), a new bass and Mackie mixing speakers, and Mike's drum set coming back to life!

To sum up, a new song, Driving, has been recorded, and the drums and bass tracks, as well as the final mix and mastering, are currently being redone on all 5 songs that are available in the music section.

A total of 31 songs are also in various stages of writing, recording and mixing, for an eventual demo or possibly a self-released album.

There's also 3 new videos on the Videos, check them out!

Back from UK

Well, it's been a while since I've updated this page at all, partly because I was away on an amazing trip around the UK, but also because to be honest, there wasn't much happenning lately. After practicing a couple of times, the promising start we had with Corey and Ian seems to have come to an end, as there was no practice in the past 2months, and no apparent intention of one. Mike and I have decided to start playing cafes acoustically, as a 2 guitar duo for now.

In the meantime, I figured it was best to focus on getting out there rather then giving too much energy on the online presence. There are, however, a couple of new vids to check, a new song there too on which I need your advice, and re-adjusted the volume in previously badly recorded clips. Enjoy!

Opiates, Job

After re-listening to Opiates, I decided to remove it for now. The recording is blaring, the song is not ready at all to be presented yet.

In other news, I finally got tired of my day-job, again, and will thus get more time to work on the website, and more importantly, the music.

3 Videos

I recorded 3 new cover videos this week. They are in the video section. Make sure to send them to your friends if you like!

Corey and Ian

Our band is finally complete! After months of search, Ian Mcdonald, and Corey Tardiff are the exact ingredients we were missing. As we will be now rehearsing steadily for upcoming gigs, there might not be many updates on the website for a little while. Feel free to leave comments on the few demo songs, and when we settle on a band name, a big re-organisation of the website will take place.

Ian and Corey

Well, thanks to my sister, Mike and I are glad to include Ian Mcdonald , guitarist extraordinaire, in our still unnamed band. We've had two sessions with him so far, and his bluesy style and crunchy riffs will be just the addition we were waiting for. This coming sunday, a friend of his, Corey Tardiff, will also be joining us on bass. I'll keep you posted as there will be a decision on a band name, and a probable change of website when that happens.

Spring Update

I know it has been a while since my last update, and I am sorry for that. Money obliges, I have been stuck in a dayjob for the past few months, since winter, and the website has taken a hit because of that, as has the little free time I had was committed to writing and rehearsing songs.

The first good news is, I am back with Mike Sperlazza, who was drummer during the Eloes period, and very good friend of mine. It is the best feeling to be playing music with him again, as the chemistry between us has been immediate since the first time we met 7-8 years ago.

In other news, I will be giving a series of acoustic concerts in Montreal this Spring, locations and dates to be confirmed, but April 12th is a probable first date. I'll be headlining for Joey Mallat, also a good friend of mine who has generously offered a spot.

Finally, I've brang some change to the website structure. Removed the contact page, as it was never used-and put a dedicated page for the videos, instead of crowding the main page with it. Also, I'll add a mailing list soon; as there will be more updates (songs, vids, and gigs) soon, I figured it would be nice to keep people posted on what is happening.
